Refund & Wet Weather Policy

Effective 29 September 2026. This policy applies to tickets and driver entries purchased directly through the official Drifting Showdown website.

If the organiser cancels or materially changes the event

If the organiser cancels the event, makes a major change to the event, or the purchased service cannot be safely provided, customers will be offered the remedy required by applicable Australian consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a refund, replacement access, rescheduled entry or another appropriate remedy.

Postponement or rescheduling

If the event is rescheduled, existing tickets will remain valid for the replacement arrangements where practical. Information about transfer, refund or other available options will be communicated to affected customers once the replacement arrangements are confirmed.

Wet weather

Drifting Showdown is an outdoor motorsport event and may proceed, pause, change its running order or operate on a modified schedule in wet or changing weather where it is safe to do so. Wet weather by itself does not automatically mean the event is cancelled or that every ticket is refundable. If weather prevents the purchased service from being delivered safely or results in cancellation or a major change, applicable consumer rights and the event's announced remedy will apply.

Change of mind or inability to attend

If the event proceeds as advertised and you simply change your mind or can no longer attend, there is no automatic right to a refund. You may still contact the event team and your request will be considered having regard to the booking circumstances and applicable law.

Refunded tickets

When a booking is refunded through the Drifting Showdown system, the related QR ticket or tickets are invalidated and cannot be used for entry. Refund timing to your bank or card is also subject to the payment provider and financial institution.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any consumer guarantee, refund right or other remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

Email tickets@driftingshowdown.com.au with your name, booking reference and the reason for the request. Do not send card details by email.
